ThermoLine™ Plasma Freezing Systems

ThermoLine™ ultra-rapid plasma freezing systems enable accelerated, semi-automated, cost-effective freezing of up to 84 units of blood plasma. These unique ultra-rapid freezers are easy-to-use, convenient, and use an environmentally-friendly refrigerant (non CFC, non HCFC) and heat transfer fluid.
 
ThermoGenesis offers two models of ultra-rapid plasma freezing systems with user-friendly programmable features that deliver cost-effective and high-quality performance. Each freezing system can accommodate either plasma bottles or bags of various sizes. Simply insert bottle or bag into the snap-seal pockets and close the lid to start the freezing cycle. Freezing chamber timers operate independently through a digital display control panel for increased throughput of blood plasma. ThermoLine™ ultra-rapid Freezing Systems come in medium and large-capacity models, with several deck configurations. Freezes plasma bags upright with bubble in port to decrease bag breakage and increase volume in bag.

  • Medium capacity model.

  • Achieves  -30°C in units of plasma in ≈ 40 minutes.*       
  • Automatic defrost and water filtration cycles allow for convenient water removal, thereby reducing ice build-up.         
  • Snap-seal pockets accommodate plasma bottles and bags of various sizes.         
  • Three independently-operating freezing chambers with digital timers allow for flexibility in processing.         
  • Environmentally-friendly, non-toxic, silicone-based heat transfer fluid specifically designed for use in lower temperature systems.        
  • Uses air or water-cooled remote 12 hp, or 16 hp; 2-stage condensing units.        
  • Large capacity.
