Our thawing systems are automated, easy to operate and maintain. The units are sealed from the outside environment by a deck with flexible snap-seal pockets that minimize the potential for bacterial or viral airborne contamination of the water, or rapid water evaporation. Offered in two-, four-, and ten-bag capacities, the systems can also accommodate bags of various sizes. ThermoLine™ Thawing Systems are cleared by regulatory agencies to thaw plasma and glycerolized red blood cells in ≈ 12 minutes and ≈ 45 minutes respectively.
Unlike open water baths that require the water to be changed once a week or more, the water in the ThermoGenesis Thawing System needs to be changed only once every three months saving labor cost.
No interruption in workflow process during thaw cycle. If a plasma bag breaks during the thaw cycle, simply take out the snap-seal pocket with the broken bag, replace with a spare snap-seal pocket to continue to use the device. Decontaminate contaminated pocket at technician's convenience.
- User-friendly — one-touch operation with digital display control panel.
- Sealed system — reducing “airborne” contaminants and rapid water evaporation.
- Completely automatic — integrated agitator bars gently massage blood component bags to speed thaw time, with 5 minute delay to decrease bag breakage concerns.
- Consistent temperature — temperature can be set between 30 - 35°C, ±1°C, so it will be ready to use at a moments notice.
- Change water once every three months for easy maintenance, with technician's time being used more efficiently.
